Herbalism

Herbal-ism is the study or practice of medicinal or therapeutic use of plants. A herb is a plant or plant part used for its scent, flavor, or it's therapeutic properties. Herbal medicine -- also called botanical medicine refers to using a plant's seeds, berries, roots, leaves, bark, or flowers for medicinal purposes. Herbal-ism has a long tradition of use, its been around since the beginning of time, and it's becoming more mainstream. Herbal medicines are often sold as tablets, capsules, powders, teas, extracts, and fresh or dried plants to maintain, or improve health. Remember knowledge is key. Speaking with your local herbalist can create the best plan to enhance your wellness, and help raise awareness about herbs that are non-sustainable to ingest. I would like to also request picking up " Rosemary Gladstar's Medicinal Herbs: A Beginners Guide at Amazon.com, and the ''The Herbal Medicine Makers Handbook: A Home Manual." These are two books I own and find very beneficial in my home.

Methods of Administration:

There are many forms in which Herbs can be administered. The most common is in the form of a liquid, such as herbal tea, or Herbal soup. Medicinal herb consumption can be practiced either fresh, in dried form, or as a fresh juice. Soups & Teas are my go to. So I listed 2 tutorials below to help you get started. These soups & teas are often consumed for their physical & medicinal effects. especially for their stimulate, relaxant, or sedative properties.
